Yassin’s late stunner earns Al Mokawloon draw against Zamalek

Zamalek were held to a 2-2 draw against Al Mokawloon in Matchday 18 of the Egyptian Premier League. 

Mohamed Samir take the early lead for Al Mokawloon in the 23rd minute, after he scored the opener from the spot. 

The White Knights equalized the score in the 30th minute, after Achraf Bencharki levelled the score from the spot. 

Zamalek upped their pressure and managed to take the lead in the 49th minute, as Bencharki collected Mahmoud Abou El Saoud’s mistake to complete his brace. 

The minutes went on and Zamalek tried to net the third goal. However, Abdallah Yaisien scored a late equalizer in the 80th  minute to gift his team a precious point. 

Zamalek are currently sit at the top of the EPL with 49 points, while Al Mokawloon are in the 13th position with 19 points.
