Wydad defeat Raja in Casablanca derby

Wydad managed to defeat Raja 2-0 tonight in Casablanca derby in Matchday 10 of the Moroccan League.

Wydad’s Ayoub El Amloud opened the score early  from an impressive header in the 5th minute of the game.

In the 16th minute, Achraf Dari netted the second goal to give his team a comfortable lead. 

Raja tried to pull a comeback against their arch-rivals, but all their attempts were blocked by a solid defense from Wydad’s players.

Wydad are currently at the top of the league with 22 points as they managed to move 3 points clear from their arch-rivals, while Raja are in the second position with 19 points.
