UAE start preparations for FIFA World Cup qualifiers

Bert van Marwijk, UAE’s head coach, has announced that the team will start a closed training camp in Dubai from May 15 to 31 May, as part of their preparations for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers, and AFC Asian Cup 2023 qualifiers.

UAE squad included:

(Ali Khasif, Fahd Al-Dhanhani, Muhammad Al-Shamsi, Adel Al-Hosani, Bandar Al-Ahbabi, Shaheen Abdul Rahman, Walid Abbas, Mahmoud Khamis, Muhammad Barghash, Khalifa Al-Hammadi, Hassan Al-Mahrami, Yusef Jaber, Salem Rashid, Muhammad Al-Attas, Al-Hassan Saleh, Ali Salmeen, Abdullah Ramadan Abdullah Al Naqbi, Majed Hassan, Yahya Nader, Ahmed Berman, Abdullah Hamad, Fabio de Lima, Khalfan Mubarak, Caio Canaido, Khalil Al Hammadi, Tahnoun Al Zaabi, Ali Saleh, Hareb Abdullah Suhail, Muhammad Jumah Eid, Yahya Al Ghassani, Ali Mabkhout, Sebastian Tigali and Zayed Al-Ameri).

Moreover, UAE will start their training camp on Saturday without the players of Shabab Al Ahli and Al Nasr, as both teams are set to face each other in the UAE President’s Cup final.

 Also, Al Wahda players will miss the start of the training camp as they will face Al Fujairah on Sunday in the UAE Arabian Gulf League.
