UAE League: Khor Fakkan defeats Al Jazira by three … and Al Dhafra tied with Al Wasl

Khorfakkan team achieved a dear victory on Al-Jazira, by 3 goals today, Saturday, for the 13th and final round of the first half of the Arab Gulf League, to fly the Eagles of Al Khor with its first victory at its stadium, Saqr Bin Rashid Stadium.

Khorfakkan raised its score by winning to 14 points in 11th place, while Al-Jazira retained its “first-round score” despite the defeat with 27 points, 5 points behind Sharjah.

The start came with enthusiasm from the homeowners, with early pressure on the guests, to succeed Brazilian Ramon Lopez in scoring the first goal in the sixth minute.

Al-Jazira entered the match’s atmosphere after the early goal shock and 3 chances were close to adjusting the score through Ali Mabkhout before Brazilian Bruno Jos added the second goal to Khorfakkan in the 40th minute with a powerful left shot.

In another match, Al Dhafra tied with Al Wasl with a goal for each team, in the match that was held at Hamdan Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Dhafra.

With a draw, Al Dhafra maintained his positive record against Al Wasl, as he did not know the loss in front of him for the eighth game in a row, when he hosted him at his home with 5 wins and 3 draws, while Al Wasl ranks ninth with 17 points, followed by the tenth place Al Dhafra with 16 points.

Al Wasl scored by Brazilian Figredo in the 54th minute, and newcomer Pedro Conde scored for Al Dhafra in the 57th minute, which is the player’s first goal in the league in about 385 days, after he scored his last goal against Al Jazira in December 2019, before moving to his current team.
