Tunisia’s Esperance withdraws from signing Anis Al-Badri and is looking for a foreign striker

Xenia Sports – Cairo

The negotiation between Tunisian Sports Club, Esperance, with its former player Anis Al-Badri, who currently plays for the Saudi Jeddah club, Al-Ittihad, failed after the player eluded the club’s management and retracted his agreement on the contract to be concluded with Bab Souika.

Esperance had agreed with Al-Badri on a contract extending for one season, subject to renewal, but the player retreated and stipulated signing a contract for a period of only 6 months, until June 2021, which was rejected by the Tunisian club management, and decided to close the player’s file completely.

Anis Al-Badri had left Tunisia’s Esperance in January 2020 to the Saudi Jeddah club, Al-Ittihad, for $ 800,000, but the Tunisian player did not provide the desired level in the Saudi Professional League and is close to leaving the club, which wants to terminate his contract.

Esperance administration is seeking to sign a new foreign striker, especially since the winter transfer window will open after 25 days in Tunisia, which made the club management wait in the selection, in order to include a distinguished player in the front line who is suffering greatly, after the departure of Brahima and Tara, and the level of decline Taha Yassin Al-Khunaisi.

Esperance is preparing to play the second round of the Tunisian League matches, which will be held next Sunday in front of Al-Ittihad Al-Munastri, where Mouin Chaabani, the technical director, wants to overcome the stumbling of the opening round in front of mustaqbal Suleiman, which ended in a positive draw 2-2.

The result of the first match came to the annoyance of Esperance supporters, who demanded Mouin Chaabani to correct the course, and some even demanded that he leave Esperance training, under the pretext that there was no new offer for the club.
