The Moroccan Football Federation succeeds in convincing Nabil Touizi to join U20 team

Xenia Sports – London

The Moroccan Football Federation continued to seize professional talent in European teams and to include them in Moroccan teams of all ages.

The Moroccan Federation resolved the file of a new player, Nabil Touizi, a professional in the reserve team for Espanyol, where he will join the Moroccan national team for the U-20 youth in preparation for his joining the first team in the future.

The player was the focus of attention of Bosnian Vahid Khaliloi, coach of Morocco’s first national football team.

Touizi revealed, through his account on the social networking site “Instagram”, that he had settled on playing for the Moroccan national team, and was ready to be among the ranks of the youngsters, starting from the next continental date.

He added that he and his family are honored by this decision, stressing that the Moroccan national team is ready for the challenges ahead.

The recent amendments to the terms of the sporting nationality made it easier for the Moroccan Football Federation to include some players with dual nationality, despite the fact that some players represent several European teams.

The recent camps of the Moroccan national teams witnessed the emergence of some players, including Sami May, a professional in the Belgian league, and Nassim Boujlab, the German Schalke player, in addition to Zakaria Boukhalal, who was also wanted by the Libyan national team and is currently playing for Dutch Alkmaar.

Nabil Touizi holds dual Moroccan and Spanish nationalities and is a strong candidate to join Morocco’s first football team.
