The Moroccan Federation refuses to disburse the TV broadcast grant to five clubs due to debts

The Moroccan Football Federation decided to stop financial support from television broadcasting rights for some Moroccan clubs, which have not paid the dues of some players and coaches.

The Moroccan Federation is preparing to grant clubs the first installment of television broadcasting rights for the local league championship, which amounts to (200 million centimes).

The matter is related to five clubs, namely Raja Casablanca, Ittihad Tangiers, Kawkab Marrakech, Hassania Agadir, and Olympique Safi, which are the clubs that must sign financial clearances with some of the elements who have lodged complaints against them with the Dispute Committee of the Moroccan Federation.

And these clubs are living in a great crisis, especially as they are waiting for the prescribed financial share of the revenues from television transport to pay the financial dues, the salaries of the players, and most of the clubs that live in a real crisis, Raja Casablanca Club.

Jawad Al-Zayat, president of Al-Raja club, had submitted his resignation from the club’s presidency, in light of the difficult financial situation, and the presence of a number of crises surrounding the team, which holds the title of the Moroccan League Championship, after being crowned in the last version, for the 12th time in its history.
