The injury keeps Marco Marin away from the Al-Ahly squad
German Marco Marin, the player of the Saudi Al-Ahly team, was forced to stop running and not be present in the team’s training after medical examinations confirmed the presence of a stone in the kidneys.
The player will miss training for a period of up to a week until he recovers.
The Al-Ahly team was affected by injuries, as a number of players were absent, led by Idris Fattouhi, Othman Hajj, and Talal Absi, in addition to the German Marco Marin.
Al-Ahly will host the Abha team, on Tuesday, as part of the 14th week of the Saudi Professional League, at Al-Jawhara Al-Mosha ‘Stadium in Jeddah.
Al-Ahly is seeking to win and be in the competition circle after it fell to third place in the league standings with 23 points, three points behind leaders Al-Hilal, who is in first place with 26 points, and two points difference from the runner-up, Al-Shabab team with 25 points.
