The former Egyptian Al-Ahly player was kidnapped from his new team’s camp

Security sources revealed the fact that Mohamed Jaber Tawfik had been kidnapped, “Mido”, the midfielder of the Ceramica Cleopatra team, who had recently moved to its ranks from Masr Al-Maqasah.

The director of football at Ceramica Cleopatra Club had made controversial statements, confirming that Mido Jaber had been kidnapped, while he was in the team’s camp in a hotel in Cairo.

Meanwhile, press reports, citing security sources, revealed that Mido Jaber was not subjected to kidnapping, as officials of the newly-promoted Ceramica Cleopatra Club claimed to the Egyptian Premier League.

The reports indicated that investigations proved that the player left his room in the residence hotel to activate the special card to open his hotel room.

Reports also indicated that the two people requested to be photographed with the player, so he responded to their request and went out with them willingly, then the player disappeared from the camp hotel.

Mido Jaber was a player in Al-Ahly club, and this summer he was sold to Ceramica Cleopatra Club, owned by businessman Muhammad Abu Al-Enein.
