The Egyptian Football Association amends the winter Mercato dates due to the Coronavirus

The committee in charge of managing the Egyptian Football Association held its first meeting today, Tuesday, during which it took a number of important decisions regarding the new lists and the upcoming winter transfer period.

FIFA recently decided to appoint a new committee to manage the Egyptian Football Association, headed by Ahmed Mujahid, and the membership of Ahmed Hossam Awad and Mohamed El Shawarby.

The most prominent decisions that were taken were as follows:

First: Amending the registration dates from January 1, 2021, to January 31, 2021.

Second: Adding five players to each club in the list of the first team, with the opening of loans to face the exceptional circumstances of the outbreak of the Coronavirus.

Third: There is only one role for the junior and junior competitions, with the exception of the Republic Championships.

Fourth: Pay the referees’ financial dues in full until the end of the previous season 19-2021.

Fifth: To suspend travel for all sports teams until further notice and to apologize for not participating in any friendly tournaments during the coming period.

Sixth: Postponing the formation of the two elected bodies, born in 2003 and 2006, to the next session after studying the CVs of the candidates.

Seventh: Assigning Dr. Mustafa Azzam to present the position of the National Teams Center project to the committee at its next meeting.

Eighth: In view of the approaching celebration of the centenary of the Egyptian Football Association during the year 2021, it was decided to form committees for this to ensure that the celebration goes out in a manner that befits the tradition and history of the Egyptian Federation.

Ninth: Assigning Mr. Walid Al-Attar, Executive Director, to present the administrative structure of the Federation during the next meeting.
