Teungueth defeat Esperance in the CAF Champions League

The Tunisian giants Esperance were dealt a blow as they fell to a shock 2-1 loss against Teungueth  at Stade Lat Dior in Matchday 5 of the CAF Champions League. 

Eseprance’s Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane scored the opener in the 28th goal and gave his team the lead.

After 10 minutes, Teungueth managed to equalize, thanks to the goal from Serigne Mamour Niang. The Senegalese team upped their pressure and managed to seal a precious victory, as Baye Diop scored the winner in the 72nd minute. 

Esperance’s qualification to the quarter-finals was not affected by today’s result, as the Tunisian giants booked their spot to the next round following their victory over Egypt’s Zamalek in the last game. 

Esperance are currently at the top of the table with 10 points, while Teungueth are in the third position with 4 points following their victory today.
