Soteldo reveals why he rejected Al Hilal move

Yeferson Soteldo, Santos Venezuelan player, discussed his decision to reject an offer from Saudi giants Al Hilal last autumn. 

The Saudi team offered 7 million Euros for Santos and 2 million Euros as an annual salary for the player but he decided to stay at the Brazilian club. 

“I want to play in Europe and that is why I decided not to leave Santos. But it is the perfect time now to achieve my dream and I think I will have more opportunities after the Copa America tournament in the summer.” Soteldo said. 

It is worth mentioning that the Brazilian club have reached an agreement to sell the player to Al Hilal, but the player’s desire interrupted the deal. 

Reports claimed that the player said that his family do not want to live in Saudi Arabia and he can not live away from his family.
