The Romanian coach Edward Iordănescu admitted that he had received an attractive offer to work in the Saudi Professional League Championship, starting from the current season.
Iordănescu revealed the name of the Saudi club that is negotiating with him to obtain his training services, which is the newly promoted Al Ain club to the professional league, which ranks last without a point after three rounds.
On the one hand, the coach said that he prefers to reject the Saudi offer despite his strong salary, on the pretext that he does not wish to leave his family in Romania and go to complete his training career in Saudi Arabia.
It is noteworthy that Edward is the eldest son of the former Romanian coach Angel Iordănescu, known as (The General), who previously worked in the Saudi League with Al Hilal and Al Ittihad and is considered the most successful Romanian coach with the Saudi teams after he won the AFC Champions League title with Al Hilal in 2000 and Al Ittihad in 2005.
