Saudi Professional League to kick-off on August
The Competitions Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation announced that the Saudi Professional League will kick-off on 11 August.
The current title holders, Al Hilal, will start their journey to defend their title against the new promoted team, Al-Tai, at King Fahd Stadium.
Also, the fifth fixture will witness an exciting encounter, as Al Nassr are set to face Al Ittihad in the Saudi classico.
Moreover, the seventh fixture will also have an impressive game, as it will host the Saudi derby between Al Ahli and Al Ittihad, while Al Hial will face Al Nassr in another exciting game in the Saudi league.
Also, the first half of the season will be interrupted by three international breaks, as the first one will be between 27 August to 14 September, the second break will occur between 5 November to 20 November, while the third break will take place between 27 November to 26 December, due to FIFA Arab Cup.
