Sassi denies the rumours of his departure

Zamalek’s Tunisisan midfielder, Ferjani Sassi, stated that he did not inform his club that he will leave the team by the end of the season. 

Sassi also said that all the news related to his contract renewal are false, and he will announce all the details in the suitable time. 

On a similar note, Zamalek’s head coach Patrice Carteron spoke about the team’s issues recently. 

Carteron stated that he returned to the team in a difficult time, as many players were suffering several issues. 

Carteron said that the team’s performance was affected by the players condition, and he is currently working on solving all these issues. 

Also, Carteron said that he returned to the team two days before Esperance’s game, and he could not improve the team’s performance in such short period. 

Carteron concluded that the team’s condition is improving gradually, especially on the fitness levels, thanks to the efforts of the club’s medical staff.
