Relegation battle takes center stage at SPL

The relegation battle in the Saudi Professional League have tensed, as the bottom teams are keen to avoid playing in the Saudi League 1st Division in the next season. 

This battle will start today,  as Al Wehda are set to face Abha tonight in week 25 of the Saudi Professional League. 

Al Wehda are in danger of relegation as they are currently at the fourtenth place, as they were defeated in their last four games. Moreover,  Al Wehda are looking forward to achieving an important victory against Abha. 

Abha,  who are also in the danger of being relegated despite their great performance in this season, are keen to achieve an important victory tonight. 

Abha are in the twelfth position with 28 points, which means that any defeat means that they will lose their relegation battle. 

Abha will be searching for the three points tonight against Al Wehda, in order to gain some breathing space away from the bottom of the table.
