Raja Defeat Nkana in CAF Confederation Cup

The Moroccan giants Raja managed to defeat Zambian Nkana 2-0 in Matchday 2 of the CAF Confederation Cup on Wednesday.

Raja’s Soufiane Rahimi gave his team the lead in the 47th minute from the spot, while Noah Sadaoui netted the second goal in the 87th minute.

The Moroccan team was more defensive in the second half to avoid conceding any goals.

However, Rahimi gave his team the lead from the spot after dribbling Nkana’s defenders, who could only stop him with a reckless tackle.

The second half kicked off and the Zambian team tried to equalize. Nkana upped the pressure, but all their attempts were blocked by Raja’s defense.

In the dying minutes of the game, Sadoui netted the second goal. Following today’s win, Raja are currently in the second position with 6 points in Group D.

On a similar note, Egypt’s Pyramids defeated Tanzania’s Namungo 2-0.  Ramadan Sobhi scored the first goal in the 71st minute from the spot, while Omar Gaber netted the second goal in the 84th minute.

Pyramids reached 6 points and they are currently at the top of Group D, while both Namungo and Nkana came in third and fourth positions respectively without collecting any points.
