Qatar Airways in talks with Al Ittihad over signing sponsorship deal
The Qatari airline company Qatar Airways are close to sign a sponsorhsip contract with the Saudi team Al Ittihad starting from the new season.
Qatar Airways are keen to include Al Ittihad to their list, which include Paris Saint German, AS Roma, Bayern Munich, Boca Juniors, Al Sadd and Club Africain.
On a similar note, Al Ittihad are looking forward to overcome their financial crisis, which affected the team’s performance.
Al Ittihad were the first club to win the AFC Champions League for two consecutive times, as they were the champions in 2004 and 2005.
Al Ittihad are currently at the third place in the Saudi Professional League with 38 points.
Also, they are set to face Raja Club Athletic of Morocco in the final of Arab Club Champions Cup, which was postponed due to the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
