Polish referee Szymon Marciniak leads Saudi final king cup

Saudi Football Federation announced the assignment of Polish referee Simon Marchiniak as the referee for the final of the Saudi King’s Cup, which will bring together Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr at King Fahd International Stadium in Saudi capital al- Riyadh. 

The Polish referee has managed a number of matches at the 2018 World Cup in Russia and has already managed the European Super Cup final that brought together Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid for the 2018-19 season.

The Corona pandemic contributed to the postponement of the final slots of the Saudi King’s Cup after the world’s sports federations suspended all sports activities in mid-2020.
