Pedro Benali: We are not afraid to face Al Ahly

Juan Pedro Benali, RS Berkane’s coach, spoke ahead of his team’s game against Al Ahly in the CAF Super Cup game, scheduled on Friday in Doha.

“The CAF Super Cup game will be very hard for both teams. We are preparing well for this match, especially it will be between the CAF Champions League champions and the CAF Confederation Cup champions.”

“We did not had these atmospheres before, as we will face a big club that enjoys great history, However, we are not afraid to face Al Ahly as we will fight to win the title.”

“Al Ahly have the greatest opportunity to win the title, but we will put on a good performance in the game in order to be crowned as the champions of the CAF Super Cup.”

“We are the CAF Confederation Cup champions and we will not be an easy opponent. We have good players, and if we fear the opponent and did not fight to win, is it better to stay in Morocco than traveling to Doha.”

“I studied Al Ahly’s playing style very well. They are a good team and have a lot of good players, such as Mohamed El Shenawy and Ali Maaloul, in addition to several good players.”
