Jeddah – Xenia Sports

Saudi Arabian Ittihad Jeddah officially announced the signing of Ahmed Hegazy from West Bromwich, England, on loan, with the right to purchase next year.

The Saudi team did not disclose the value of the financial deal, as sources (Xenia Sport) indicated that the deal amounted to 3.25 million euros, while the player will receive 4 million euros in the next two years after purchasing his contract from the English club.

Hijazi will wear the number 26 during his career with the Saudi team, the same number he wore with the English West Brom team.

Ittihad Jeddah delayed announcing the deal due to the preventive measures applied by Saudi Arabia for those coming from outside the country due to the spread of the Coronavirus, which is represented in isolation for two days.

Hegazy began his football career with the Egyptian team Al-Ismaili before his professionalism in Italy in Fiorentina and Perugia, and also wore the logo (The Red Devils) Al-Ahly Club, before his departure to England in a professional experience with West Bromwich in 2017.
