Negative hue from the Al-Ahly mission in Qatar, except for the Executive Director .. FIFA is holding a meeting with the team

The Egyptian Al-Ahly Club, participating in the FIFA Club World Cup in Doha, received a notification stating that the medical swab that was performed yesterday evening upon arrival in Qatar, all came negative for all members of the technical, administrative and medical staff and the players, with the exception of Mohamed Morgan, the club’s executive director, whose test came out positive.

Despite the negativity of his last survey that the mission carried out hours before leaving Cairo, and the absence of any symptoms on him, or a negative impact, as his condition remains more than excellent, but there is respect for medical instructions, precautionary and preventive measures, and accordingly, Morgan was temporarily isolated, and he will be reinstated. Medical swab for him during the next 72 hours to confirm his safety.

Al-Ahly will start their FIFA Club World Cup campaign against Al-Duhail, Qatar, on February 4.

While the International Federation of Football Association: FIFA held a meeting to welcome the mission of the first football team at Al-Ahly club this afternoon via video conference, inside one of the halls designated for the club at its residence in the Qatari capital, Doha.

The meeting witnessed the welcoming of the Al-Ahly delegation in Qatar, a few days before the start of the FIFA Club World Cup.

The meeting was attended by Khaled Murtaji, a member of the club’s board of directors, and Al-Ahly’s coordinator at FIFA, Sayed Abdel Hafeez, director of football, the technical staff led by Pitso Musimani, the team’s players, and Samir Adly, managing director of the first football team, and the medical and administrative bodies And Jamal Gabr, director of the club’s media department.

 The meeting was also attended by Amir Tawfiq, director of contracting and marketing at the club, his deputy Ashraf Omar, Hanan Al-Zaini, director of regulations and licenses at the club, and Dr. Amr Moheb, who handled the process of translating all instructions for the mission.

The meeting witnessed introducing the players to all the technical instructions related to the tournament, in addition to explaining all the amendments related to arbitration and the regulations governing the competitions, in addition to talking about all matters related to the precautionary and preventive measures. To deal with Coronavirus, along with many technical, organizational, and regulatory matters related to Al-Ahly’s upcoming participation in the Club World Cup.
