Nassiri ends the crisis of Wydad Casablanca

Xenia Sports – London

president of Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca, Said Nassiri was able to end the financial crisis that the club was suffering from during the last period.

Said Nassiri put a large sum in the bank account of Wydad so that the club could register its new players after the Moroccan Football Association decided to prevent any club owing former players or coaches to register new deals that were signed during the current summer transfers.

Al-Nassiri was able to collect some of the sums owed to Wydad, including some money for the transfer of former Wydad player Ashraf Bencharki to the Saudi club Al-Hilal in 2017.

After the Wydad president deposited the dues of the former players and ended the crisis, the players were registered, and the trio Ayoub Al Kaabi, Moayad Al Lafi, and Simon Musova participated with the team during the confrontation that took place yesterday against Youssoufia Berrechid, which ended with the victory of Wydad with two goals to nil.

On the other hand, Wydad player Ayman Al-Hassouni suffered a severe ankle injury, as he would undergo treatment and rest between 3 and 4 weeks before returning to defend the team’s colors.

It is noteworthy that Ayman Al-Hassouni was unable to complete the Wydad Al-Riyadi match against Youssoufia Berrechid, as he was injured.
