Mustafa Muhammad responds to the failure of his transfer to Galatasaray
Mustafa Mohamed, the striker of Zamalek team, who was recently transferred to the Turkish Galatasaray team, revealed the fact that he was banned from traveling due to the performance of military service, after the news that was circulated during the past hours, about the failure of his European professionalism due to his association with recruitment.
Mustafa Mohamed said through his official account on the social networking site “Twitter”: “I thank the Egyptian Armed Forces for the assistance in completing my travel procedures for the start of my professional career.”
Mostafa Mohamed is scheduled to leave Cairo in the coming hours, to join the ranks of his new team, Galatasaray, for whom he signed an official contract for a season and a half on loan from Zamalek.
Zamalek received an amount of up to $ 2 million in exchange for the young player’s loan, with the Turkish club entitled to activate the purchase of its full contract by December 2021.
Mustafa Muhammad will start his career with Galatasaray against Istanbul in Basaksehir on Tuesday at the Turk Telekom Stadium, where he is likely to enter the match list and participate in some time, according to the vision of the technical director Fatih Tarim.
Halat Saray is preparing for two confrontations next week, the first against Basaksehir, and the second against Fenerbahçe, the league leaders, and Galatasaray occupies third place in the league standings, three points away from Fenerbahce.
While Mustafa Mohamed’s position has become ambiguous in participating with the Olympic team led by Shawky Gharib in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics in the hands of the Turkish club, as the Egyptian Football Association and the Olympic team must obtain the approval of the Turkish club to participate in the tournament.
According to the regulations for professional players, the 2021 Tokyo Olympics tournament is not included in the international agenda, and therefore the Olympic team is not entitled to obtain the player’s services in this period except after obtaining prior permission from Galatasaray and the team’s coach, which is the same position as Mohamed Salah, the English Liverpool player. He is not entitled to participate after the approval of his English club as well.
The Olympiad will be held in July and August, and Mustafa Mohamed will be waiting for the approval of his Turkish club if these dates conflict with official matches for his current team.
