Musimani calls for Al-Ahly to sign a foreign striker instead of Badji

Xenia Sports – Cairo

South African coach Pitso Mosimane asked to sign a foreign striker during the current transfer window, after the poor level shown by Marwan Mohsen in the African champions league final, which was crowned al-Ahly for the ninth time in its history.

According to sources within Al Ahli, Musimani demanded to sign a foreign striker quickly during the current Mercato, in case of inability to buy the contract of Uruguayan player Gaston Sereno, a professional for Sun Downs.

Sources confirmed, that Sereno is the first target of the management of the Egyptian National Club, but so far the management of Sun Downs has not expressed official approval to sell the player’s contract for the benefit of the Cairo team, amid a great commitment to his presence with the South African club.

Meanwhile, Musimani wants to replace Senegalese Alio Badji during the current period, especially with the difficulty of relying on him as a key player in the squad next season.
