Morocco To Discuss 2030 World Cup Bid with Infantino

FIFA President Gianni Infantino embarked on an official visit to Morocco, as part of
his trip to Africa, which started two weeks ago.
Fouzi Lekjaa, the head of the Moroccan Football Federation received FIFA President and FIFA
officials, in the presence of Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Infantino will lead a series of discussion related to the development of the game on both domestic and international levels. The Moroccan officials are keen to discuss the country’s 2030 World Cup bid
with FIFA President.
Morocco aims to co-host the World Cup in 2030 with one of the European countries
and they already started discussions with Spain and Portugal.
