Moroccan Raja announces 11 positive cases of coronavirus

The Moroccan club, Raja Casablanca, announced the monitoring of 11 positive cases of infection with coronavirus “Covid 19” after medical examinations were conducted on 40 members of the players and administrators.

In an official statement, Raja said, “Following the emergence of a positive case in the ranks of one of the training center players, and in line with the precautionary measures to confront the Covid-19 virus, Al-Rajaa Sports Club conducted a comprehensive examination of a total of 40 medical swabs for the players and administrators at the club’s training center.”

the statement added, “The preliminary results showed that 9 other young players and an administrative framework were infected with Covid-19 disease, and therefore all recommended measures were taken, as it was decided to isolate the injured and take care of them according to the applicable health protocol, with the training center temporarily closed.

It is expected that more players and administrators will undergo tests for the Coronavirus in order to determine the general epidemic situation inside the club.

Moroccan Raja had suffered from many infections with the Coronavirus, which caused his matches in the African Champions League to be postponed, as the Confederation of African Football (CAF) issued several decisions in favor of the team before facing Zamalek in the semi-finals of the African Champions League, which he left after losing With a score of (1-4) in the aggregate of the home and away matches.
