The UAE Football Federation, on Monday, at its headquarters in Dubai, will sign a cooperation agreement with its Israeli counterpart, in the presence of Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, President of the UAE Federation, Gianni Infantino, President of the International Football Association, and Oren Hasson, President of the Israeli Federation.
The cooperation agreement between the UAE and Israeli football federations is aimed at strengthening relations between them, developing the football system in the two countries, benefiting from expertise to raise the technical, administrative, and organizational level of the various football tournaments, and strengthening joint cooperation between the two countries in all sectors, including the sports and football sectors. The world’s first popular game has everyone’s passion and following.
An agreement to be signed by the two parties includes a number of items, including the establishment of friendly matches for all national teams and clubs, the holding of joint workshops for the technical and administrative members of the federations, as well as the launch of development initiatives that contribute to supporting the course of the game in the two countries.
And Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, President of the UAE Football Association, held a meeting last month, through visual communication technology, with Oren Hasson, President of the Israeli Federation, during which all matters related to the agreement that will be signed on Monday were discussed.

Mohammed Abdullah Hazam Al Dhaheri, Secretary-General of the UAE Federation revealed the details of the agreement, stressing that it comes inactivation of the peace treaty that was signed between the United Arab Emirates and the State of Israel, as we were keen in the Football Association to coordinate with the Israeli Federation regarding this unique agreement in the Middle East region. Bin Hazzam explained that the presence of Gianni Infantino, President of the International Federation, in the UAE and his presence at the signing ceremony of the agreement confirms FIFA’s keenness, and its encouragement for such initiatives that serve football, which is one of the most important activities that help people rapprochement and the convergence of cultures due to its lofty goals and values and honorable competition.
He added that he finished all aspects of the agreement, as a group of coordination meetings was held with the Israeli side and the items were set to work on during the coming period, which will witness reciprocal visits and various initiatives in all areas of the game.
