Mexican coach Miguel Herrera emerges on the radar of Saudi clubs
Mexican head coach Miguel Herrera, known as El Piojo, received many offers from Saudi
Arabian clubs.
The coach is not under the spotlight of Mexican clubs as they cannot afford his
wages of €2 million a year.
The Saudi clubs are not the only teams that are interested to appoint the Mexican coach as he also received from clubs in China but the manager did not receive offers from Europe since he left Club America.
It is worth mentioning that El Piojo rejected an offer to coach Saudi Arabia national team in 2015 as he wanted to continue his mission with the Mexican national team.
On a similar note, several clubs in Saudi Arabia like (Al Hilal – Al Nassr- Al Shabab) appointed caretaker managers and they aim to sign permanent managers to provide more stability for the teams ahead of participation in the AFC Champions League.
