Matchweek 28 of SPL: Hamdallah shines, Al Hilal dominate the league top

Matchweek 28 of the Saudi Professional League has witnessed breaking lot of  records that lasted for a while.

Al Ittihad managed to keep their league hopes alive after defeating Abha 2-1.

This was their first victory over Abha in the last 13 years.

Al Ittihad’s last win was in 2009, when Abha was relegated from the SPL.

Moreover, Al Nassr’s striker Abderrazak Hamdallah kept breaking impressive records in the Saudi Professional League, as he became the fastest Player to score 72 goals in just 66 games.

Despite that Abderrazak is not in his best form, the Moroccan striker broke Omar Al Somah’s record, who scored 72 goals in 68 games.

Al Hilal hammered their arch-rivals Al Ahli Saudi 5-1 to cement their position at the top of the league table.

However, the Blue Waves compensated their previous defeat from Al Ahli in 2004, who thrashed their opponents 5-1 also.
