Maicon returns to Al Nassr FC ahead of Classico

Al Nassr’s Brazilian player Maicon will return to the team’s training once again on Wednesday, following his sudden previous decision to leave the club. 

Maicon decided to terminate his contract with Al Nassr in January, as he did not receive his salary for 6 months, according to his agent’s statements. 

Al Nassr’s board of members managed to convince the Brazilian midfielder to return to the team, as they confirmed to him that he will receive his full salary. 

During the previous month, Maicon trained with Riffa SC in order to maintain his fitness levels until he returns back to his Saudi team.

Maicon will be forced to miss Al Nassr’s next game against Ettifaq FC on Friday, as he will be mandatorily quarantined for 3 days upon arriving in Saudi Arabia. 

The Brazilian midfielder will be able to play with Al Nassr in the Classico, against Al Ahly Saudi on 11 March.
