Lukaku’s first part of Chelsea medical carried out in Milan

Romelu Lukaku is reportedly carrying out the first part of his medical examinations ahead of his move to Chelsea from Inter.

SportMediaset reports the Belgium international carries out the initial part of his medical in Milan and is currently at the Columbus clinic in the fashion capital.

Lukaku prepares for a return to the Blues seven years after leaving Stamford Bridge in a permanent switch to Everton.

The Champions League winners had a €115m bid accepted for the former Manchester United striker and Lukaku is only formalities away from being announced as a new Chelsea player ahead of 2021-22.

Inter are close to completing a move for Edin Dzeko to replace their leading goalscorer from 2020-21, when Lukaku helped the Beneamata pick up their first Scudetto in 11 years.

The 28-year-old is set to leave Inter after only two seasons with the club, contributing 64 goals in 95 competitive games with the Nerazzurri.
