Josef de Souza wins case against Al Ahli

Josef de Souza, Al Ahli’s former player and the current Besiktas midfielder, won the case filed by Al Ahli against the player and his current club.

Al Ahli demanded a 16-million as a compensation payment after the player unilaterally terminated his contract with Al Ahli to join the Turkish club.

Al Ahli lost the case, which means that they will have to pay more than 8 million Euros to the player.

The Brazilian player said before that he tried to negotiate with the Saudi club over the transfer before taking the decision to leave for Besiktas.
