Jackson Molika wins the 2020 CAF Champions League top scorer award

The African Football Confederation (CAF) revealed the list of the top scorers in the 2020 African Champions League, which was unveiled on Friday evening and was decided by Al Ahli club for the ninth time in its history after beating Zamalek 2-1.

The Congolese forward Jackson Molica, a former striker TP mazimpe who moved to Belgian club Standard Liege, was the top scorer with seven goals, followed by Morocco’s Ashraf Bensharqi, Zamalek striker with 5 goals.

They are succeeded by Badr Bannon, a former player for Raja Casablanca who moved to Al Ahly of Egypt, and his team-mate Ayoub Al Kaabi, the scorer of Wydad with 3 goals each.

Petro Atlético’s Rickard Job topped the list of playmakers, with 3 assists out of 6 matches, and Zamalek’s Ashraf Bensharqi also included him with 3 assists but in 9 matches with his team in the championship.
