How Al Ahli’s financial crisis affects their transfer market

Al Ahli Saudi are currently suffering from a harsh financial crisis, as the club is currently under monumental debt.

The Saudi club will be affected a lot by this dept during the transfer market, as they will not be able to afford big signings.

Al Ahli will be searching for free agents this summer, as the club will not be able to pay high fees to sign new players.

The Saudi giants managed to sign  Dankler and Mohamed El Magrashi on free transfers, and they are currently looking for more free agents to sign.

Reportedly,  Al Ahli are in talks with Al Nassr’s player Nordin Amrabat. The Moroccan winger is set to leave Al Nassr, and Al Ahli are waiting for the player’s final decision to sign him on a free transfer.

On a similar note, the financial crisis also caused a lot of problems inside the club.

Many players have not received their late payments yet, and this worsens their situation.

Also, the negotiations between the club and Mohammed Al Fatil were difficult due to the club’s financial problems.

It is appearing that the negotiations are set to break down, as Al Fatil will likely leave the club this summer.
