Gross: Revierderby atmosphere reminds me of Jeddah derby

FCSchalke head coach Christian Gross expressed his sadness for missing the opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere that the fans create in the Revierderby between Borussia Dortmund and FC Schalke.

Gross added that the atmosphere of the Revierderby reminds him of the derbies that he experienced during his career such as Jeddah Derby between Al Ittihad and Al Ahli, Cairo Derby between Al Ahly and Zamalek as well as the Zurich Derby between FC Zürich and Grasshopper Club Zürich.

Gross said that the fans create an amazing atmosphere and their absence from the stands will have a
negative impact on the derby.
