FIFA fine Zamalek over Ahaddad’s transfer, Carteron to stay with the club

FIFA have decided to hand Egypt’s Zamalek €30,000 fine due to the complaint of Morocco’s Difaa Hassan Al Jadidi regarding the transfer of Hamid Ahaddad.

Ahaddad joined Zamalek back in 2018 on a permanent deal coming from Difaa El Jadidi, but his performances for the Whites were underwhelming.

The 26-year-old participated in a total of 24 games for Zamalek in 2018/19 leaving little impact, scoring just one goal, what called Zamalek management back then to loan him out.

Ahaddad was then loaned to Morocco giants Raja a year later and he showed some signs of improvement with the Green Eagles and scored on nine occasions and created three goals in 29 matches.

According to the contract between Zamalek and Difaa El Jadidi for Ahaddad, the Moroccan club should receive a percentage from any potential loan deal of the forward.

Furthermore, FIFA decided to fine Zamalek $30,000 to be paid to Difaa El Jadidi. The Whites were given 45 days in order to fulfill with paying the fine before receiving a transfer ban in case they surpass the deadline.

On a similar note, Patrice Carteron’s agent has denied all that the French manager will leave the team.

Carteron’s agent said that Zamalek’s coach travelled to France to have a short vacation and that he does not have any intention to leave the White Knights in the upcoming period.
