Etoile du Sahel sign three Algerian players in free transfer
Tunisian giants Etoile du Sahel announced on Monday the signing of Algerian players: Zinedine Boutmène, Tayeb Meziani, Houcine Benayada.
The three players joined the club in free transfer and they signed contracts with the club till 2023. Boutmène terminated his contract with Club Africain as the club is banned from adding new players to the squad by FIFA and the Tunisian Football Federation.
On the other hand, Benayada joined Etoile du Sahel also from Club Africain after terminating his contract with the club. Also, Meziani joined the club in free transfer after terminating his contract
with Espérance last summer.
On a similar note, the CAF Confederation Cup group stage draw took place and it resulted in a possible clash between Etoile du Sahel and CS Sfaxien.
The draw put CS Sfaxien in Group C alongside Salitas of Burkina Faso, Senegal’s ASC Diaraf in addition to the winner between Etoile du Sahel and Eswatini’s Young Buffaloes.
