Esperance crowned Champions of Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1

Esperance managed to win the Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1 title after defeating Stade Tunisien 1-0 in Matchday 22 of the competition.

Abdelkader Badran opened the score for Esperance in the 56th minute, to give his team the early lead of the game.

Stade Tunisien tried to equalize, but all their attempts were blocked by Esperance’s defense.

Following today’s victory, Esperance reached 59 points and managed to secure their 31st league title.

On a similar note, the current league champions are currently preparing to face Club Africain in the derby on Wednesday.
