Egypt’s Al-Ahly faces Qatar’s Al-Duhail in the preliminary round of the FIFA Club World Cup

The draw for the Club World Cup, which was held this evening, Tuesday, resulted in Al-Ahly colliding with Al-Duhail, the Qatari League champions, in the quarter-finals.

Qatar will host the Club World Championship with the participation of 6 clubs from 4 to 11 February.

Al-Duhail, Qatar, Al-Ahly, Bayern Munich, Ulsan Hyundai, South Korea, Tigris Unal, Mexico, and the South American champion, which has not yet been decided between Palmeiras and the Brazilian Santos, will participate in the championship matches at the two stadiums: Ahmed Bin Ali and Education City.

The preliminary round, in which the New Zealand champion Auckland team was scheduled to face Al-Duhail, Qatar, was canceled after the New Zealand champion withdrew due to the Coronavirus.

Al-Ahly faces the Qatari team, Al-Duhail, on the evening of Thursday 4 February in the first round at 7:30 pm Cairo time
