Egypt Cup Final: Al-Ahly in a strong confrontation against Tale’i El-Jaish to achieve the hat-trick

A strong confrontation will take place between Al-Ahly club and its counterpart Tala’a El-Gaish, in the final of the Egypt Cup, which will be held at Burj Al Arab Stadium in Alexandria at 8 pm Saturday.

Al-Ahly is seeking to achieve a hat-trick this season, after it was recently crowned Egyptian League 2020 and the African Champions League as well, after defeating Zamalek in the “Final of the Century.”

While the Talaia Al-Jaysh club aspires to achieve its first local championship, when it competes in the final of the Egypt Cup for the first time in its history, and coach Tariq Al-Ashry seeks to achieve the Egyptian Cup title for the third time in its history after it had previously achieved it twice with Haras Al-Hodoud club.

In Al-Ahly, coach Pitso Musimani, using 22 players to enter a closed camp since Thursday afternoon, to impose a state of focus on all members of the team, especially after he noticed the continued state of euphoria due to the victory in the African Champions League final over Zamalek, and the team almost lost to Al-Ittihad of Alexandria, which was the match that was held in the semi-finals, and Al-Ahly won with great difficulty, 2-1, after losing in the first half with a clean goal.

Musimani used a number of new deals, such as Badr Bannon and Taher Muhammad Taher, as well as some loaners returning again to support the ranks of Al-Ahly, such as Nasser Maher, Muhammad Sharif, Akram Tawfiq and Salah Mohsen, who are the quartet who has great hopes in the next stage, to develop the team’s performance.

On the other hand, Talaia El-Geish, who detonated a loud surprise in the semi-finals of the Egypt Cup, after he succeeded in defeating Zamalek and eliminating him from the tournament, enters that match and has high spirits, and wants to crown the local title for the first time in its history.

Al-Jaish has distinguished players, especially Mohamed Bassam, the goalkeeper of the team, as well as Mohamed Nasif, the left-back, the midfield duo Muhannad Lasheen, and Ahmed Samir, and the distinguished striker Nasser Mansi also owns, as well as Amr Mari, who scored the third goal against Zamalek.

Talaia El-Guish officials dream of winning the Egypt Cup, but the task is difficult, in front of the Al-Ahly club, which has a long history, and which has recently won the Champions League, which raised the morale of the club and among its fans.

While the Referees Committee announced that the match had been assigned to the referee, Muhammad Al-Hanafi, assisted by Ahmed Hossam and Youssef Al-Basati, and Muhammad Al-Sabahi as a fourth referee, while Tariq Magdy led the video assistant referee (VAR), and was assisted by Mahmoud Ashour.
