EFA to deduct three points from Ismaily

The Egyptian Association of Football decided to deduct three points from Ismaily in the Egyptian Premier League, in case that the club did not pay EGP 20m for Nogoom FC as the fees of the team’s former player, Ibrahim Hassan.

On a similar note, the EFA began notifying the clubs of its intention to postpone the elections, due to the changing of the league’s schedule, which is expected to end in September or early October.

The EFA said that the elections can be held at the end of the season, following the classification of the clubs, as the clubs that have the right to vote will be reshuffled according to the league schedule.

Finally, the EFA confirmed Egypt’s participation in the Arab Cup, which will be held in Doha, next December.
