EFA bans Zamalek Youth Players after Cairo Derby incidents

The ethics committee of the Egyptian Football Association decided to ban 6 of Zamalek’s players after the recent incidents that happened during Youth Cairo Derby. 

The ethics committee decided to ban Emam Ashour from football for 12 games and fined him EGP 200,000. Also, it decided to ban another 5 players for 8 games and fined each one of them EGP 100,000. 

Zamalek appealed against the EFA decision and they are currently waiting for the final action that will be taken. 

On a similar note, the EFA sent an official letter to the Confederation African of Football (CAF) in order to host the CAF Champions League final.
