Dramatic victory to Damak over Al-Ahly in the Saudi Professional League

The Saudi Dhamak team turned its defeat into a victory in the match they gathered against Al-Ahly, on Saturday, with a score of 4-3, within the seventh week of the Saudi Professional League at Al-Mahala Stadium in Asir region, southern Saudi Arabia.

For Dhamk Zialaya (two goals), Farouk Shafi’i and Mazen Abu Sharara were scored, while Samuel Oso (two goals) and Omar Al-Somah scored for Al-Ahly.

Al-Ahly got the lead early after a deceptive shot in the 12th minute. Algerian Dhamak goalkeeper Mustapha Zaghba could not stop it, in the 12th minute, before the same player added the second goal in the 18th minute.

Damak managed to reduce the score through a penalty kick by Zelaya in the 25th minute, and Al-Ahly scored the third goal through Vijsa, the third goal in the 35th minute, taking advantage of a wrong pass from Damak’s defense.

Damak succeeded in arranging his cards at the beginning of the second half, and he succeeded thanks to the changes of his coach Noureddine Ben Zakri, as Damak succeeded in scoring the second goal in the 75th minute through a header from Zelaya’s pass, who succeeded in breaking free from Al-Ahly defense supervision, while Farouk Shafei scored the equalizer. With a header in the 76th minute, the winning goal for Damak came through Mazen Abu Sharara in overtime, from a header that came in the same way as scoring the third goal.

Damak advanced to 15th place after its victory over Al-Ahly, while Al-Ahly’s balance stopped at point 13 in third place.
