Donnarumma breaks silence after error against Real Madrid
Gigio Donnarumma is eager to react after his error against Real Madrid, but admits that the last two days ‘have not been easy’.
The 23-year-old sparked Real Madrid’s comeback at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night, giving the ball away for the Merengues’ equaliser through Karim Benzema.
He was harshly criticised by Italian and French media, with L’Equipe even calling him ‘the undertaker’ of PSG.
The Italy star has now taken to social media to share his thoughts after his terrible night in Madrid.
“The elimination from the Champions League was a blow. The past two days have not been easy, but it is precisely from these moments of difficulty that we come out stronger”, he wrote on Twitter.
“Now, we must think about the present, to win Ligue 1, giving everything as I have always done for this shirt, for this Club and for our fans. Let’s start again, together! Allez Paris”.
Donnarumma has once again been linked with a move to Juventus, while ex-Bianconeri coach Gigi Buffon defender his compatriot saying that ‘mistakes can happen’.
