The atmosphere flared up again between Al Ahly and Zamalek Egyptian clubs after news spread during the past hours about the existence of negotiations being held by the holder of the African Champions League, with Ahmed Sayed Mustafa “Zizou” player of the white team.
The beginning was through social media, and rumors spread that there are negotiations by al-Ahly club with Ahmed Sayed “Zizou”, but was soon officially denied through Mohamed Habshi, the agent of his transfer deal to Zamalek club last season.
Despite Habshi’s statements denying the existence of any negotiations on the part of al-Ahly club to include “Zizou”, especially that his contract went with Zamalek club, but without warning the player went out to lie agent and confirm that he is not associated with him with any agency contract, which caused surprise and concern among Zamalek fans.
Zamalek officials fear a repeat of what happened with Mahmoud Abdel Moneim “Kahraba”, who broke his contract and left for Portugal, then returned and officially moved to Al Ahli in January 2020.
The crisis did not stop after spreading during the last hours, where Ayman Younis, chairman of the football committee Zamalek club, came out to express his deep concern about the actions of Al Ahli in negotiations with the players, to confirm that he will also do the same with the opponent if it proves that there are negotiations on their part with Zizou.
Al Ahli club denied all the news in the past hours about any kind of negotiations with Ahmed Sayed Zizou, which is linked to a delightful contract with his club.
The director of contracts at al-Ahly club “Amir Tawfiq” came out in remarks via his Twitter account, denouncing all rumors that spread strangely during the past hours, about the existence of a phone call between him and Zamalek player.
Amir Tawfiq said: He wishes every official or media to assume his responsibilities and support the rejection of intolerance, with the need to focus on achieving victories in the fields only, away from false tournaments via social media.
