Carteron led Zamalek training for first time ahead of Espérance Sportive de Tunis clash

The French manager Patrice Carteron lead Zamalek’s first team training on Friday for the first time,  following his return to the team. 

Zamalek have announced the appointment of Carteron as the club’s new manager on an 18-month contract, to replace Jaime Pacheco who was sacked on Thursday. 

Carteron held a meeting with his players before the start of the training and demanded them to concentrate in order to overcome the upcoming challenges.  

On a similar note,  ZED’s head coach Osama Nabieh resigned from his job in order to be Carteron’s assistant’s coach. 

Morover, Zamalek are set to face Espérance Sportive de Tunis in Matchday 4 in the CAF Champions League group stage on Tuesday.
