CAF confirms 2021 AFCON dates

The Confederation of African Football has announced that the draw for the group stages of 2021 Africa Cup of Nations will take place on 25 June.

Also, the CAF stated that the tournament will be held starting from January 9 to February 6, 2022.

23 teams managed to book their spots in the tournament, including the hosts Cameroon and the title holders Alegria.

However, the draw will be held following Sierra Leone and Benin’s rescheduled game.

On the other hand, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has officially requested to host the 2021 CAF Champions League’s and the CAF Confederation Cup’s finals.

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation stated that they reqested to host the CAF Champions League final at Mohamed V Stadium، while hosting the CAF Confederation Cup at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.
