Benzarti: We suffer from fatigue

Wydad are set to face MC Alger in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.

Faouzi Benzarti, Wydad’s head coach, spoke about his team’s preparations for their upcoming clash against the Algerian team.

Benzarti believes that his players suffer from fatigue due to their overwhelming schedule during Ramadan.

“We are suffering from fatigue after we played a game every three days. However, we have to overcome that and to focus on our upcoming game.”

“We are ready to face MC Alger, even though we have many absences”.

“Five Arab teams managed to qualify to the quarter-finals, which represents the difficulty of the competition. Thus, our game against MC Alger will not be easy.”

“The strongest team does not win always, but we are ready for the game and we are keen to achieve a good result in the first leg.”
