Ben Cherifia To Miss MC Alger match for COVID-19

Esperance goalkeeper Moez Ben Cherifia will miss his team’s game against Algeria’s MC Alger in the Matchday 2 of the CAF Champions League group stage after being tested positive for COVID-19.
The player underwent a COVID-19 test last week and the result came out positive, which means that the player will not join the team that will travel to Algeria.
On the other hand, the rest of the team’s squad tested negative for COVID-19.
Esperance will face MC Alger on Tuesday and the Tunisian giants aim to achieve their second victory after opening the group stage with a victory over Senegal’s Teungueth.
Esperance are leading the group with three points while Zamalek and MC Alger share the second position, one point each, while Teungueth stay at the bottom of the group with no points.
